Bespoke silkscreen wallpaper made for Human Cargo, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, its Abolition and Contemporary Legacies in Plymouth and Devon. The artist took the redemptive symbol of the daffodil (a locally grown crop harvested by often poorly paid migrant work-force) and hybridised it with a foliage design from a slave traded item in the Museum’s collection.
